If you’ve ever wanted to drink like a cowboy, here’s your chance. Sample a variety of bourbons and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres on March 30 at 6 p.m. at Aspens East Cobb location. The Metro Atlanta Scotch Club will host the event.

Grand Champion BBQ Expands, Adds new Chef

One of Atlanta’s barbeque restaurants has just gotten a little bigger. Grand Champion BBQ can now accommodate private and business catering as well as special events. They can cater for one to 4,000 people. The restaurant also hired Chris Farr (pictured) as its pie chef. Farr’s seasonal pies are for order off the menu or upon request.

High Museum’s Annual Wine Auction Salutes the Grape

To enjoy great wine and art all in four days, consider participating in the High’s Wine Auction from March 28 to 31. This year’s event includes specialty meals at select restaurants, professional chef-prepared dinners served at private residences, wine tastings and more. On March 31, the High will host its 20th annual Vintners’ Reception and Live Auction. Rare and collectible wine, trips, fine and more will be up for auction at the High’s largest fundraising event. Tickets for the auction are $400 per person.
