From Alpharetta Restaurant Week to a colorful new theatrical performance, check out what our friends are hosting in the coming weeks.
Alpharetta Restaurant Week

Starting the first week in March, diners can enjoy discounted cuisine at some of Alpharetta’s best and newest restaurants during Alpharetta Restaurant Week. Guests can head to La Casa Italian Grill for Italian cuisine, pay a visit to Pure Taqueria for authentic Mexican food, go to Firefly for seafood, pork chops, lamb chops, steaks, and burgers, eat at The Taco Stand for fresh Mexican fare, and feast on Japanese cuisine at Benihana. Other participating restaurants include Sage Woodfire Tavern, The Diner at North Point and Spice Brick Oven Kitchen.

“The Foreigner” Opens in Roswell

Georgia Ensemble Theater presents the comedy “The Foreigner” from February 23 to March 11. The play features shy Charlie, who isn’t the best carrying on conversations, and a friend who covers for him by telling other guests in a rural Georgia mountain lodge that he speaks no English. Hilarity ensues when Charlie overhears much more than the other guests ever intended.

La Grassa Menu at La Tavola Trattoria

La Tavola’s La Grassa (“the fat one” in Italian) menu is back and chock full of hearty Italian cuisine. Taking cues from Bologna, a city in Italy renowned for its cuisine, La Tavola’s special menu features appetizers that range from duck liver to grilled pears, entrees that include roasted pork shanks and lamb Bolognese and a dessert course featuring crumbly cake with preserved cherries and mascarpone cream. The La Grassa Menu is available from February 29 to March 10. The menu is available a la carte or $35 prix fix, plus tax and gratuity.
