Easter is this Sunday and Passover started Monday, and whether you celebrate or not, the food lover in you is in store for a treat. Plenty of Atlanta restaurants are dishing out fine food for a fraction of the cost. So treat yourself and remember that spring is finally here.

Midtown residents can go to Ecco on March 31 for a Mediterranean-style Easter brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the restaurant is offering a variety of meat and cheese options, one for $4.75, three for $14 or five for $22. Taste and share items for the table range from chocolate strudel, mixed olives and crab fitters with a poached egg and pickled peppers.  Appetizers include mixed lettuces, radishes, almonds and tarragon-mustard vinaigrette and potato, leek and chervil soup with poached Georgia shrimp supplement the wood-fired pizzas, pastas and main dishes, including the San Marzano tomatoes, house-made mozzarella and basil pizza, lasagna with mushroom ragu, béchamel and arugula and butcher steak with polenta, asparagus and salsa rosso. Best of all, this menu is budget friendly; all the items previously mentioned are $20 or less. For reservations or more information, call 404/347-9555.
